What if facebook was real life?

I talked about social networks getting real in the predictions film  and the increasingly close relationship between virtual and real worlds is something I think about at the pub, when I should just be drinking. I just caught this film on laughing squid and had to share it. What if facebook became real life, rather than just plugging back into it? This has had me in stitches (..and there is something in here about data awareness resolving itself against the first trend). The sketch is from idiots of ants, from BBC Three's comedy show  The Wall.

hello trendrr - is this trend networking?

A colleague just pointed this out to me, it called trendrr (as in flickr).

Trendrr's about page reads:

I'm just having a play with it now, looks interesting, in a trend spotting meets social networking kinda way.  The proof is in the using as always - so thoughts on a postcard please.
